Our origin story

CEO & Founder: Erica Anne Love, PhD

Living most of her life with a rare and life-threatening health condition and the day-to-day realities of physical disability, Erica Anne Love made the bold decision to walk away from an executive leadership role and a six-figure salary to protect her physical and mental well-being. She believed there had to be a different way to “do work”—one that centers human well-being, not just productivity.

Driven by this conviction, Erica launched her own company to challenge outdated business models, ignite more conscious ways of being, and support those ready to lead and live on new terms. Her company, BeCourageous Leadership, reflects both her personal commitment to showing up with courage each day and her belief that courageous leadership is essential to reimagining the future of work—and the future of our world.

Erica leads with purpose, grounded in the power of connection and guided by a vision of a more compassionate and conscious world—one we can only build together.

I am a future of work strategist, trailblazer, team-builder, and change catalyst. I help teams with insights and strategies to anticipate and shape the evolving landscape of work. I leverage trends in talent, technology, and workplace practices to design agile and sustainable ways of working and learning for the future. My expertise in helping leaders create engaging workplaces stems from my deep understanding of human motivation and learning. My approach to navigating the complexities of modern leadership and workplace dynamics is characterized by an unwavering optimism and a passion for fostering environments where teams and ideas thrive.

Saundra Trujillo, PhD

Executive Strategist

I work at the intersection of community, justice, and workforce transformation. As a criminologist and digital credentialing expert, I help employers, educators, and policymakers build skills-based systems that truly work—for people and for communities. As co-author of the Digital Credentials Playbook, I support national efforts to design and implement meaningful, validated microcredentials and Learning and Employment Records (LERs) that promote equity, build trust, and open real-world opportunities.
